This week I met with Hillary and May on Thursday for an hour and a half to figure out where our jobs overlap and to research various UNCW clubs and organizations that we could reach out to to promote Visions.
After that I met with May for an extra 30 minutes to figure out what we were going to say and go over when we met with the film club presidents about the film kid mixer.
On Friday I met with four film club presidents about the film kid mixer for about 45 minutes. We went over possible ideas, divided jobs and responsibilities, and formed a little committee for the event.

Ideas from Interviews
Of all the things that I read in the interview transcripts, there were a few things that stuck out to me in terms of things that we could do this year for Visions. I really liked the jury process from Ally's interview. They seemed to have a really good system that could work. They would grade the films then those that scored at a certain level continued on and were shown to a jury. We would probably have to tweak it some since they are working with thousands of submissions and we are not doing that.
Another process that I really liked was the selection process of Kevin's interview. Since he had the screenwriting contest, their process of selection was based on a blind reading and scoring the scripts. I think this could be a really good process to base our abstract selection off.
