Visions this year was a whirlwind. It still has not fully set in with me that it is finally over. I feel like there are still room assignments and schedules to be made for it. Overall, I think I did well at my tasks. Granted, there were places that I needed to work on and I will advise Shannon to do them better next year. I wish that I would have been able to stay on my original schedule for the semester that I made at the beginning of the semester. I had everything mapped out for when I would get my tasks done so I would not be rushing at the end of the semester. Some things that were not in my control got in my way though (*cough cough* Catering) and I had to work around that. Other things were my fault due to procrastination and not being fully confident in my ability to do everything.
I am probably most proud of my management of the staff drivers for the day of and the weekend of Visions. I made sure to stay in touch with everyone so that no guest got left behind or confused about what needed to happen. It took some coaching, but all staff did understand where they needed to be and who they were driving on the day of Visions. I was also proud of just seeing everything come into play. When people were enjoying playing volleyball at Dig & Dive and mingling with each other throughout the day of Visions, it felt really good to know that I made all that happen. I definitely made mistakes throughout the semester, but I think I made it come together and was able to pull everything off when it came to the actual weekend.
